  • I have my regular dentist in bay area whom I religiously visit every 6 months and I was assigned some special work in Phoenix for a year. I called this dentist for a regular cleanup appointment. They informed me that I have to do full X-ray for any work to be done and I agreed. After the X-ray is done, they gave me some deep cleaning work which costs 1000+ dollars and they told they cannot do regular clean up. I am very much aware of my dental hygiene and found no reason to do deep cleaning for this exorbitant price. Basically I have to do all this without getting any real work done. Few months later, when I moved to bay area again, I went to my regular dentist for a regular clean up and he did not see any reason for a deep cleaning at all. These people are not honest in their profession.
