This review is long overdue.
I have been taking my two cats and my dogs to this clinic for nearly 10 years. I cannot say enough about them. Every single time I have ever called with a concern about one of my pets, the answer has always been the same.."Bring him in today". Really, every time. Every person I have had contact with here, from the people who answer the phones to the people at the front desk, techs and the vets themselves have seemed to have a genuine love of animals and have been nothing but patient and kind with my pets, myself and my wife.
Now healthcare is never cheap and that does include animal healthcare but I have never once walked out of here feeling like I may have been overcharged or sold unnecessary procedures or services. More than once, I have brought my dog in for one thing or another and have not been charged. I also have not felt like the doctors are rushed or impatient.
My current dog has an inoperable golf ball size tumor on top of his head but the pain meds Dr Gilmore prescribed have not only kept him alive for longer than anyone expected but perfectly happy and comfortable as well. We considered putting our dog down when he was diagnosed with cancer but we still have him with us over a year later because of the care he has received at Animal Health Clinic.
As a bonus, they are located just next to NDG park. I usually arrive early for my appointments and walk my dog through the park to calm him down before going inside.
Bonus #2 - Animal Health Clinic sponsors the Adopt a Pet segment on the local TV news.
