  • I have to update my review because Hokkaido really stepped up their sushi game and I am digging it! They finally added the basic sushi pieces - salmon, tuna, mackerel, etc. in addition to the rolls they always had. The fish on top of the rice might've been sliced a little thin but it was very good and fresh - especially the salmon. I love all the seafood they have - especially since it's Friday during Lenten season. We had baby clams, cheesy stuffed mussels, salt and pepper squid, shrimp and crab. I also have to say the eggplant in garlic sauce was super. Everything was so good - can't wait to come again when I need my sushi fix! My sister, who was hungover, said this place "saved her life" - so dramatic but there is a ring of truth to this - when you want sushi - this place delivers just that and more. Thanks for upping your sushi game, Hokkaido!! I'm now a big fan :-)
