  • I came here for a mani/pedi while having my car serviced at the AAA car care center across the parking lot. I had not come before, though I pass it often, because of the Yelp! reviews. But since I was right here and my cuticles were in dire straits, I decided to take a gamble (anything would've been an improvement). I was promptly greeted by more than one technician and immediately seated after picking my polish color and offered a beverage. My mani/pedi was done by a sweet older lady (I didn't get her name). She gently suggested the gel manicure. (S/N: I wanted to get the gel but didn't ask because I haven't found a shop here in Charlotte that does it for a reasonable price). She quoted me $45 for a pedicure and gel manicure. Upon hearing the great price (same I paid back in Raleigh) I accepted. She was very thorough yet gentle and finished both the pedicure and gel manicure in about an hour and 15 minutes. She even suggested a beautiful bright color and sparkle that really complemented each other well. The shop itself was clean and quiet with the exception of the TV which was showing Cupcake Wars on a low volume. It was a very relaxing time and I was able to finish the most recent season of the Serial podcast without interruption. (Winning!!) All in all a great experience! I will be returning soon!
