| - I was in your store on a Tuesday, June 27th, very troubled over a broken passenger exterior mirror. I recently moved back to Ohio, (after the recent passing of my mother). I have a sixteen-year-old Audi A4, and have had more problems with it after moving back to Ohio. The car obviously doesn't like wintry weather. After putting almost $3000 (on credit) into the car after moving back, now I had another repair to deal with.
This time I decided to go to Auto Zone, (in Avon). After walking into your store, a young man named Tony greeted me. After telling him my dilemma, he came outside with me to look at the mirror. He spent time researching the different mirrors and found one that met my criteria and budget. He went back outside to measure and check specs a couple more times.
He ordered it and told me it would arrive in a couple of days. I asked him if it would be something easy enough to install and he said he'd take care of it for me. I almost cried and told him, I found a guardian angel and I was extremely grateful and appreciative. His manner was kind, professional, and above and beyond helpful.
I thought customer service was a thing of the past in this day and age, but not with Tony. I stopped in Thursday morning before work, and he said he'd let me know when the mirror came in and it was done.
I work in the plaza next to Auto Zone. He came in after his shift to let me know everything was all taken care of. I am extremely pleased and more than satisfied with the efficient and top-notch service I received from Tony and the Avon Auto Zone. He should be highly commended and rewarded for a job well done.
Auto Zone is my go-to auto store from this day forward. A big thank you to you and Tony for restoring my faith in customer service.
