rev:text	I had never been to a dog bar before (but brought my pup to some breweries) and was really excited to give Lucky's a try. Since then, I've brought several groups of friends with me who are equally as impressed as I am in the size, beer selection and the staff. I have a smaller, older dog that can sometimes get a little grumpy, so I initially had some concerns about bringing him somewhere where he couldn't have some alone time. However, there are a significant number of play pen areas, both inside and outside, so that you're able to take your dog elsewhere if needed. Outside, there is a very large outdoor play area (as well as a bar that looks both inside and outside) with another smaller fenced in area if your dog needs some alone time. There are plenty of tables, chairs, and booths so that you're able to enjoy a drink. Inside, there are two different play pens, one for smaller dogs and one for bigger, as well as a leashed option right at the bar. Everyone does a great job of picking up/cleaning up after their pet, which makes the place much more enjoyable. Also, most owners do a good job of breaking up any fights (which is rare at some of the dog parks that I've been to.) They have great daily specials ($15 for a beer and a bath on Tuesdays, half off wine on Wednesdays) and you are able to bring outside food if you would like. Also, they have a large selection of NC beers which I really appreciated, as well as mixed drinks and wine. The prices are reasonable as well. The staff is also great- friendly, talkative, and fun to be around. Great place to bring your furry friends in Charlotte!
