| - I stayed here on the night of 17 May. My friends were having their wedding reception there, so it was convenient. The experience was OK, overall.
One gripe I have about the place came up front. Check-in time at this hotel is 4:00, which, from my experience, is on the late side. I was coming to the area for the wedding from the central part of Pennsylvania, so it would have been nice not to have to wear my wedding garb while driving the three hours to get there. Thus, that morning, before departing home, I called to ask if I could check in a couple of hours early to change clothes. I was advised that wasn't possible. Not a huge deal, but certainly not convenient, either!
Check-in was efficient -- much more so than most hotels I've been to lately -- so that was nice.
The reception was nicely executed. In particular, I found the bartenders assigned to the open bars to be efficient and cordial.
My room was large -- certainly more than sufficient for a family of four if they were willing to share beds and such. It was pretty clean though not spotless. My room (217) overlooked the lobby/garden area. Unfortunately, noise from that area was audible as early as 6:30 the following morning because that's the breakfast area. The interior walls of the building are thin, I suppose.
The free breakfast was good, but the range of offerings seemed a bit more limited than what I've seen at other Embassy Suites and similar hotels.
