  • We showed up for brunch over an hour before closing time. After a 5 to ten minute wait the hostess approached and asked if she could help us. When we asked for a table for two she very rudely said she is not taking any more names for the day, turned on her heel and went about her business. She didn't use the word "sorry" or pretend to be apologetic. The reverse, she bristled in a way that made me feel she wished she could grab is by the elbow, shove us out onto the sidewalk, and empty a dirty mop bucket on us for troubling her. I've worked in the food service industry, and have worked in a service industry for 16 years now - I really know how it is. She gets no excuses for treating people that way. I added one star because I liked her bangs.
