So I wish I could say I've been inside this venue. Alas, I haven't. Which is what compels me to write this review.
I have purchased two tickets to events/comedians here before. One was Madlon Wayans. The other was Tiffany Haddish. Both were canceled.
The lack of notice is what is astounding to me for Wayans. I never got an email or notification. I had left my house to attend his show when I thought to check my tickets and couldn't find the in my Ticketweb account. I then checked their Facebook and the website to find nothing on there either. It took a phone call on the way to find out he wasn't there and his show was canceled with the potential to be rescheduled for a later date. The person on the phone didn't seem to care about the lack of notification either.
Recently, I purchased Tiffany Hadith tickets as well. Only to find that was canceled as well, also with the potential to be rescheduled.
My suggestion to the club is this- instead of refunding money right away and having us (being the customers) compete for the same seats twice, or potentially not being able to even get seats the second time around; notify us of the cancellation of the performer/comedian; and move our tickets to the next show. Same seats. Send us an email with the new date(s), and if we want a refund then because the new dates don't work for us, offer a refund at no charge.
Your customers would be a lot happier.
