We booked a room for the night anticipating we'd be wore out after pool partying, night clubbing then coming back and gambling. We arrived a little later than we had planned but discovered pool party actually lasted until 7:00 pm and not 6:00 pm. So we were anxious to get to room and get changed into swim suits. As we entered the room the sewer smell hit us. It was not good. The room itself was nice. This was the first time we have been on the Ground Floor and loved the ease of access to pool. We have stayed here before with never an issue. (I think we've never reviewed due to it being a resort/casino I always leave with a empty wallet and bitter). So we figure must be a temporary or random smell and will go away. Sadly the weather really sucked so we gambled and hit Top Golf a bit. Upon returning to the room we immediately noticed the smell. It was definitely worse and not going away. I called the Front Desk and (Dianne or Dianna) without hesitation or giving me the run around she found an immediate replacement and had people coming to help move our belongings and show us to a new room. The original room was great besides the smell. They moved us to a suite! This I was not expecting and I must say it was a sweet suite. Pool side views, huge, spacious area and very comfortable. I am completely impressed by the speed of service Dianne or Dianna got going for us and the fact we got a helluva upgrade. I'm sure the original room had a sewer trap issue or something because it was only in that one room. We got a whole new perspective on where to stay for pool party weekends and will be booking one of these suites in the near future. Overall, we always enjoy coming here, but went to Scottsdale to dance as the club upstairs seems to only regress. Other than that, another wild and fun filled Saturday night.
