  • This is a British grocery store chain that has started the concept of no live cashiers at the checkout stands, everything is self checkout. The stores are very inviting with nice colors, appealing displays, and always fully stocked shelves. They have a limited selection of veggies but a large selection of pre-made dishes. Their salsas are fabulous. The stores are a lot smaller than an ordinary supermarket and I really don't know how price-competitive they are. They used to issue great coupons but apparently have quit that program.
