| - I want to give 4.5 but alas I cannot. So, here it goes, the Ramsay Pub and Grill review. :) knowing we were going to Vegas, we knew we wanted to try one of Ramsay's places. We love his shows and wanted to try his food. We decided on the Pub and Grill. We made reservations via Open Table. About a week before, we got a message on our home answering machine from the restaurant. We were being bumped, a VIP came in and bought out the restaurant for the night we were going to be there. They were very accommodating and worked to get us in while we were there. The evening finally arrived. We got there a little early and were seated immediately. This is where they lose the half star. I sat in a chair and felt like I was on the floor. My chin, literally scrapping the table?! What is up with the chairs? Our waitress and another staff were very helpful though to get us "big people" chairs. I quite literally needed a booster to reach the table appropriately. But the dinner got better. We started with drinks. I chose the blue sky, sweet and yummy! I am a sucker for a sweeter mixed drink. The hubby chose a beer on tap, all I know though is that it was a heffeweizen. It was delightful though. We picked apps. The beer nuts which come with a variety: sweet, salty, and spicy. I didn't try the spicy but the hubby liked them a lot. I tried the sweet and the salty. They were delicious. We also got the lobster roll app. Two small rolls filled with an awesomely good lobster roll filling. For our main dishes...the hubby got the fish and chips which comes with mushy peas. I have never heard of mushy peas but wow...how interesting who would have thought that peas and mint would taste so good together. Wow! What flavors! I chose the Scottish salmon and this came with cauliflower. Wow! Best salmon ever! The skin tasted so good! And the fish cooked perfectly, flaking off, so fresh. Cauliflower was delightful too. Just a really good dinner. The food was just really quite good. I would visit again!
