Garden center on the wknds and evenings avoid. Had an encounter Sunday with another cashier who clearly doesn't want to be there. A mindless zombie taking up space but is able to work a register outside. And standing there with no facial expression and not acknowledging customers as they enter. Just looking away. But think this is now par the course at this particular Lowe's on Ray rd. Just the other day on my lunch break this poor lady working returns all alone with 5 deep in line phone ringing and zero support from any manager. When that Lowe's first opened in 1996 it was staffed accordingly and with happy helpful associates. Today just the opposite. But can name a few exceptions. Ged, the real nice lady at returns works Friday days , Cindi up front, Theresa and Susan in garden. And the ONLY reason I continue to spend any money now at that particular garden center is because of Susan. But a good garden alternative nearby is the Home Depot on Warner and Kyrene but NOT the one on Ray. And actually the Lowe's garden center Baseline and Rural was excellent but haven't been since the longtime manager left.
