One of the first things that overwhelms you when you walk in the door, is that is actually resembles an Irish pub without being a cheesy impostor. There are comfy, oversized booths as well as some of the largest wooden tables/chairs.
The menu is inventive and every time i've been there, all diners have been satisfied with their choices. Whether it be the fish n chips, salmon, or dublin city burger (topped with the besssst onion rings) Brocach knows how to please their guests.
There is often irish bands playing, or at least a harp and bagpipes.
The upstairs boasts a swanky lounge/bar that also offers an awesome view of the capital. Prices are bit steep for drinks if you are a student, but compared to other nicer places near the capital, Brocach is a great deal.
