I love Vintage Video! It is very conveniently located and the owner is very nice and knowledgeable. About two weeks ago I went looking for The Munsters boxset to buy since I knew was sold there. I was hoping to purchase it in the summer, but I was not able to. Now I have the money to buy it and I would really like to own it before 2017 ends. It was sold out when I went there recently. I know it was marked discontinued. The owner said he would try to track down a copy for me, which would probably be easy. I left him my name and number. About a week later I received a phone call from the owner. He said that he got a copy in. I did not expect to hear from him so soon. I was pleasantly surprised when he followed that saying IT WAS TWENTY DOLLARS CHEAPER. WHAT?! The next day I went to Vintage Video after work to purchase the item. The cover art on this set is different than the cover art on the other set. The other sets have a dark image. This one is very colourful. I love both images. I don't care which one I get. I was saving money!!! The owner told me that the distributer repackaged the boxset and knocked $20 off the price. It was now $79 instead of $99. I told him he could have just charged me the $99 and I would never have known that a change in cover art would result in a cheaper price. He said "I wouldn't do that." I HAVE LOTS OF RESPECT FOR THIS MAN!!!!! It is imperative that you go to Vintage Video and buy something. You're missing out if you don't. Support an independent business that offers important items and that has integrity. I can't afford to shop there much, but I vow to make at least one purchase per year.
