Had been wanting to check out this spot for quite some time, and as the line next door at Oregano's was far too long, we decided to stop in and were seated immediately. Even though our orders were put in and drinks brought promptly, we oddly received our dishes individually. By the time my 3rd friend had their food, it is no doubt that the other two would be digging into a less than steaming meal. It is quite possible the slower service was a fluke incident b/c we were seated in a backarea where waitstaff barely trafficked....
I ordered one of the 4 specials of the day. A Hot Soba noodle soup in a miso (think thicker and creamier version of your typical miso broth) with bok choy and shrimp. The miso soup is what made this truly tasty! All meals come with a bread basket including banana breads and cinnamon crisps (totally random for an Asian place, but nonetheless yummy).
I hear it's best to shy from the Italian menu (smartly tacked to the back of the menu), but who needs Italian, when there is so much else I want to test in the future!
