So far so bad. Had 2 rooms booked and honestly the most unaccommodating situation yet. One of the rooms we had reserved was a corner suite.. we nicely asked for a strip and she nodded and gave us our key.. got to the room and it's a view of the parking lot. Tried to get it changed and the front desk was not helpful and dismissive and said they had nothing left. They told us they would bring up champagne and strawberries for the inconvenience... never did. Why offer? It's just rude. As for the second room that we had booked and asked for the same level... they said they would call us and let us know when it was available (this was at 3pm).. 2 hours later no phone call. Went to go to the front desk to ask when we would be getting a key. Told Stephen in passing about what they offered for the inconvenience and he literally ignored me. He's rude. He was like "I've got a cleaner room for you on that level". I'm like "as opposed to what a dirty one?". We booked direct through Vdara for my fathers 65th birthday. So far it's been an inconvenient experience. Never staying again. If we book rooms we are supposed to get... we should have them and have them in a timely manner and not with passive unaccommodating attitudes. To top it off we paid an arm and a leg in comparison to current prices on hotels.com. Probably should have just asked for our money back and booked the penthouse at Bellagio for $770.. would have been cheaper. Lesson learned. As for the rooms.. they are nice.. bathroom lighting isn't the greatest. Just something to note for my fellow makeup girls who like to get down and do falsies and the whole 9 yards.
