So this is the best Vegas has to offer in Indian Food? I came here based on Yelp reviews and left highly disappointed, not because it was bad (it wasn't, it was just pretty good) but because of the notion that this is as good as it is supposed to get in Vegas. Granted it was only for the lunch buffet, but I guess I don't know if it will get any more than marginally better for made-to-order entrees.
Now, the food in itself is pretty good - decent flavors, ample choices for buffet. But it's not very spicy. At all. That's actually a big deal because I think part of what makes curry & masala what they are is the distinct kick they produce.
Service is spartan due to the buffet nature, but is pleasant when provided. Place wreaks of herbs, so I'm thinking maybe they need a bit more ventilation. Area is a bit fishy, but out in the open so not too worried about safety.
In all, it's a fine place for Indian food but you'll leave wanting to see if there is something better.
Table-for-1 Factor: Not sure for dinner, but I felt it would be just fine sitting alone for a bite.
