Brides Beware. Serious Bridal Tax here. I had been a loyal client and because my stylist was awesome, seriously fantastic, and actually gave me the inspiration for what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day.
I wanted to see what it would take to get my hair and make up done. Strike 1: You can't just make an appointment. You need to speak to their "bridal consultant first. (DON"T DO IT.) This would not be an issue if this person cared about serving you an an individual bride, but that isn't what it is. This is the beginning of being on the bridal assembly line. You are not an individual here. You are a bag of money in a white dress.
Strike 2: You have to pick from the bridal packages that start at $600 dollars. I found the prices for their special occasion hair and make up. Even with a practice run it's under $300. There is no difference in the price if you have short hair and want just a little natural glow, or want them to weave a basket on your head.
Strike 3: The justification of the doubling of the price, they'll give you a tube of lipstick, mimosas, and you get to keep the false lashes they put on your faces whether you said you wanted them or not.
Strike 4: ZERO talk about actually using the wonderful stylist who actually made me want to use their service in the first place.
Strike 5: If you notice the discrepancy in the pricing and want to speak to someone about it, don't hold your breath. The front desk told me someone would call me twice. It did not happen. I loved my stylist, but I will not give this place another dime since they rip off brides on their big day.
