I've used discount cab many times, but my recent experience has me rethinking of using them in the future.
Due to an early flight out of Sky Harbor, my wife and I set up discount cab to take us to the airport. We advised them we needed a sedan since were had several bags, a young infant and a stroller.
At 7am, we received a call stating a sedan wasn't available, but would a mini van do. We said, no problem and the driver would arrive in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, a small prius cab showed up in 15 minutes. There was no way we could fit our items in the vehicle.
We called the cab company stating we needed a sedan ASAP! They said it could be 20 minutes. Luckily a cab arrived in 10 minutes. As we were loading our items a second sedan showed up.
Once the snafu with the vehicle was worked out all was fine. The driver was nice and courteous and go us to the airport in a safe fashion as best he could with the traffic on 10 backing up.
Luckily terminal 2 was quiet and the check in and security process was quick or the delay with the cab would have had a greater impact on our travel plans.
