This is a review for my gluten free experience.
I always look at a restaurant's menu beforehand, so I know my options. FEZ offers a gluten free bun for all of their burgers, but the menu does not specify which burger toppings/sauces are gluten free. I asked my waiter if he could check the specific ingredients for the FEZ burger. I don't know if there was a miscommunication... but he started explaining how there was no way to know for sure. I didn't understand that answer. I mean... either the toppings and sauces are made by someone in the kitchen or it comes in a package with ingredients listed. The conversation ended with him agreeing to check the packaging.
Turns out, the FEZ burger is gluten free (with the exception of the fried onions). Their bun was SUPER dry and just not good. I know that's usually the story with gluten free buns, but I've definitely had better at places like OHSO.
My burger had a side salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I also ordered a mango rosemary martini. My husband ordered a beer and a strawberry chicken salad. Our bill was about 50 bucks. Overall, pricey. Decent food but if you have special requests like gluten free, don't expect too much effort.
