  • The pharmacy department here is an absolute joke. I dropped off three prescriptions yesterday, around 2:30pm. One of these prescriptions was an antibiotic that needs to be started the following morning. After 20 minutes of the pharmacy tech attempting to place my prescription order and properly enter my insurance information, I was informed that I would be able to pick up all of my prescriptions at 6:30pm that night, as they were busy. I received a phone call around 6:10pm from a tech named Keionne, informing me that the antibiotic was not available, and would not be available until 3:30pm the following afternoon. I was also informed that I would have to call other locations to see if they held this medication, as she would not do it for me. She told me that my other prescriptions were ready for pick-up. I arrived at the pharmacy to find an extremely long line at both the drive-thru pick-up window and the internal pick-up window. I waited 30 minutes in line, and when I finally arrived to the front, I was informed by another tech that I would need to stand to the side and wait another 5-10 minutes for my prescription to be ready. 10 minutes go by, and he calls me back to the counter. At this time, I notice that he is only holding one prescription. I informed him that I should be picking up two prescriptions at this time, as they did not have the third available. He then informed me that one of the two prescriptions that I was supposed to be picking up was not going to be available until the following afternoon. I then asked him what the issue was, which prompted Keionne to walk over. She asked me what the issue was, and as I began to explain the situation, she interrupted me and began telling me that I could not be helped by her if I was going to be irate. I informed her that I was not in fact being irate, which resulted in her telling me to stop yelling. At this time, I was not yelling, and I informed her that I was not yelling. She then walked away and said, "Whatever, I'm not dealing with this." At this time, I told her to let me speak to her supervisor. She continued to walk away, and the tech completed my transaction and informed me that I could wait at the consultation window to speak to the pharmacist about the issue. I stood at this desk for an additional 5 minutes, until the tech walked over to let the pharmacist know that I was waiting. She walked over to me, and with the same attitude as Keionne asked me what the issue was. I informed her of everything from beginning to end. She then said, "What do you want me to do?" I told her that I want what I am promised, which is my prescriptions. She then used the excuse that they are busy, to which my response was that it is not my problem if they are busy or not. She then walked away, and I told her to give me back the prescription scripts so that I could take them somewhere else. I am utterly disgusted with both the lack of customer service and the lack of ability to function as a pharmacy from CVS. Every person within this pharmacy needs to be taught the art of professionalism; I will NEVER use this or any other CVS location for anything whatsoever again, and I will encourage everyone that I know to do the same.
