| - Great hamburger restaurant located inside the Red Rock Casino. It's a rather small restaurant, smaller than I imagined, but there was plenty of waitstaff.
I sat at the bar as usual and ordered my usual drink: ice tea. They did not have a special happy hour menu. Instead, it was 50% off all appetizers, salds, and burgers (except the "build your own burger" option). I hoped they had sweet potato fries appetizer, but alas no. Instead, I opted for the onion rings, southwest chicken salad, and slider sampler (one beef, turkey, and ahi tuna slider). The food took awhile to come out, but the bartender was good at keeping my ice filled, in spite of a rather full bar.
When the food finally arrived, the portions were decent, especially at the happy hour prices! The beef slider was a bit dry, but the turkey and ahi tuna sliders were delicious! The onion rings were a bit salty, but otherwise good. The best dish, however, was the southwest salad. It was prepared just the way I like: not too much dressing. You could actually taste the ingredients such as the romaine and cilantro and not just the dressing. The salad also had a nice spicey kick at the end. Very nicely done. I left stuffed and ice tea logged and the damage was only $20 with tax and tip! Definitely a happy hour worth revisiting!
BTW, as I left I saw a sign for an eating challenge: a 6 patty burger with hot peppers and fries that you havve 60 minutes to finish. Something to keep in mind for all you big eaters out there!
