| - I discovered My Florist pretty soon after moving to Phoenix after a friend of a friend of mine, who I had just met days before, asked if I could pick up her dinner from there.
I said, "Sure, no sweat."
So I walked in and found, as folks have said, a woman in the back doing the Peanuts theme song on the piano while every table was filled with people, wine, and dessert. Go figure.
I've been there a handful of times - some good salads and great sandwiches. For choco fans, there's the Godiva martini which to me looks like mud but I've seen a few ladies swear by the stuff. I even caught "Zoolander" on their flat screen once.
The only downside to the place is that if you want to go there for dinner, it's got everything: the live piano (Wed-Sun nights), the drinks (including bottles of wine 1/2 off on Thursdays - or is it Tuesdays?), the late hours and the contemporary atmosphere. But I'm not usually jonesing for a roast beef sandwich or a nicoise salad at 8 o'clock at night, no matter how damn good they are.
So that's the one quip: no real dinner menu. Otherwise a chill joint for a drink and a bite.
