| - As a kid (upper single digits), I had gone to Laser Quest two or three times, but with a parent so I always had to play with other kids that I didn't know. I've since come here a few times in the last year with my (also adult) friends and had just as much fun as when I was a kid! In general, the late evening games are comprised of adults and they can get very, very competitive.
The last two games of the night are "Ironman" games that last for half an hour each. These are my favourite because of the opportunity it provides to develop team strategies with friends. One time when I was playing an Ironman game, the game ended early by accident, but Laser Quest made up for it by offering everyone a free game voucher, which I used a few weeks later with no issue.
I am giving LQ 4 out of 5 stars because, though somewhat uncommon, when kids play the late night games, it makes it harder to be super competitive because they become easy targets for the older, more experienced/strategic players. I'd love an adults-only time period, perhaps an hour after the two regular Ironman games.
Also, the washrooms are gross. They smell really bad and they're often dirty. Not that the washroom is an important part of the Laser Quest experience, but it's just not nice.
