| - SPA REVIEW- Would have given 5 stars but the operating hours is a joke, it's really hard to book for 2 ppl at a time so it's best to spoil yourself solo. I also went on a weekday after work.
TIPS- come earlier than your reservation and use their facilities. Go chill in their lounge, swimming, sauna and wash up before your spa treatment so that you'll leave with all the expensive oils and lotion that they put on you (I did the opposite....)
So they are pretty strict on reservation times, assuming that they got bookings back to back. I came right on time and they gave me a quick tour of the facilities and how to use their automatic lockers (similar to the high end membership gyms in Toronto). They have private shower rooms with different options. You gotta play with the settings, but there's a rain shower option and the regular one. They offer the usual bath amenities, I felt like the conditioner didn't really help with my hair at all but after blow drying, my hair felt AMAZING.
I'm all about details and they got it down to the nines. let's start with the robes, it's not the average white ones that you get in your hotel rooms-that's if they even provide you with one. The robes they have is fit for a queen/king, it's heavy and super cozy on the inside and slick on the outside- perfect during the cold weather. They also provide sandals in different sizes.
I felt like I was in hibernation mode or something. they have a refreshment table full of bite size snacks (I wish they refilled it often), coffee/ a nice tea selection and water mixed with fruits to keep you hydrated during your treatment.
Their lounge isn't the biggest but it's nice and cozy, like max seats 6 ppl. but even when I was there I didn't even see much clients. I think I just bumped into 1 girl.
I had the best body massage and facial. they were done by two different women and they were very skilled. normally for facials the esthetician applies the mask and leaves for a bit but this one massaged my arms, shoulders, chest and neck until the facial was ready to wash away. Honestly the best pampering I had in a while.
I was kind of disappointed with the "infinity" pool because it wasn't really looking over the edge like the ones you would imagine. it's a regular pool with "natural salt" water. it's not really picture worthy either.
