  • I have to say that this airport looked a lot better than I expected it to. I only had a short stay in Phoenix, but it seemed like a really run down city. The mall was almost entirely empty units except for Walmart and a few other stores, and it really wasn't safe for us to walk around freely at night in the area we were staying.... So in comparison, the airport is really pretty awesome lol. It's nice and modern inside, pretty easy to navigate and our driver knew exactly where we were. It was even easy to get out of. This is an extremely stark contrast to the airport here, that just.... I don't know what is wrong with the roads and directions. I get lost all the time, go the wrong way, and if you make one wrong turn you'll find yourself heading away from the airport and back on the freeway with no turn to come back. Sheez. Anyway, thank you airport designers for having some sense with this one.
