Not impressed by the restaurant or the casino. I'm from Detroit and was expecting to see some sort of theme tying the place to my home city but I didn't see a single thing other than the American Coney Island. If you're going to advertise The D Casino to people in Detroit then at least show the city your are supposedly basing your casino off of some love! Sheesh! The food at D Grill was not great. The menu didn't really make sense. Not sure how "Island Favorites" has anything to do with Detroit. I got a southwest salad, my aunt got chicken noodle soup, my Uncle got fish and chips. The lettuce in the salad was definitely pre mixed like those Dole salads, my uncle's fish was over cooked and the fries were way over salted, my aunt's soup had a piece of raw chicken and a big long hair in it, also it seemed like it came from a can. The server didn't apologize for the soup. She was a bit older and very scatter brained. I don't plan on coming back to this place. Pretty underwhelmed.
