  • Simply the best little Italian supermarket in Calgary. Prices are sometimes a little high especially for cheeses and cold cuts, but you are not at Super-Store here, the quality is excellent and the service is the best. I found some of my favourite italian cheeses there, and some I didn't even know about, and I am Italian! On weekends, their pizza is to die for, and so is the home-made bacala, almost as good as my grand-mother's. The best part about eating there is that you are often surrounded by first-generation nonnos and nonnas and their Canadian offsprings with their own kids, not your typical downtown yuppy crowd. Like home!
