Husband and I decided to celebrate our 5th anniversary here. From the second we walked in the door, I noticed the high level of skilled, hospitable staff. The host, bartenders, and servers were so polished and well informed. It was very refreshing.
We ate so much we left in pain, but everything was very good. They confused the doneness we requested for our steaks, but other than that, our meals were delicious. My highlight was the pumpkin puree soup. So. Good. It had the right amount of toasted pepitos to add a lovely texture to each bite. My husband had a beet abs apple salad that was out of this world. I mean, who knew beets could be THAT delicious!?
I had the hanger steak with roasted cauliflower and rosemary potato pancake. The cauliflower was a tad underwhelming, but the carmelized shallots that accompanied it rocked my world.
The desserts? Hell yes. Banana cream pie and apple pie? Done and done.
Overall great experience.
