rev:text	Last visit was not a pleasant experience. I was dining alone and carrying a briefcase. I was given a seat at the bar that is ahead of you and to your left as you enter. Not the long tables facing the window. But the smaller one across from that. There was a piece of scrambled egg on my chair. I grabbed a napkin from the unused chair next to me to wipe it off. I sat down on my newly cleaned chair and put my briefcase on the empty chair next to me and started looking at the menu. 30 seconds later someone informs me they are planning on squeezing in next to me. You are practically elbow to elbow at that bar. So I take my briefcase off the chair and go to put it on the floor (no room on the table) and I'm disgusted by all the pieces of leftover food littering the ground. I'm not putting my stuff on such a filthy floor. I walked out and headed to Phoenix Public Market. On the way, I phoned Matt's and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what happened, she said that they ALWAYS keep the floors clean, so she doesn't understand how it happened, and would I like to come back and get a to go order ? No. I would not. I've been here once before and thought the food was pretty good. Although it's really not worth dealing with all the hassle of the long waits, small tables, and sassy help. It's bacon and eggs and waffles. Not exactly 3 star Michelin fare. There are plenty of good, CLEAN, breakfast restaurants in the city that have the same type of food. So I don't plan on going back anytime soon.
