| - I had gone to a few really nice restaurants during my stay in Madison, I was exhausted from the event and was just craving a delicious sandwich and maybe a juice. I walked to Casetta during their in between lunch and dinner break when they don't serve, so I looked across the street and saw there is a coffee shop that also advertised sandwiches, so I figured I'd grab one there. Upon entry, I was very impressed what I saw. I loved the ambience, the smell of the place shows you that the coffee there is amazing. Of course it was after 3 PM so I don't drink coffee after that. The service was pretty good. The guy who was helping me explained that there were seven local Barriques around. Unfortunately, I could not find them on Yelp when I was researching restaurants. Maybe because it's identified as a coffee shop. Otherwise, I would've probably tried them for coffee or breakfast at some point during my stay. I ordered the goddess pita which is a chicken, Mediterranean inspired wrap with mixed greens. I also tried the brain food bar as my interpretation of dessert. The sandwich and self was just OK. It looked yummy but it lacked something. The brain bar felt the same way about. I would go there with my computer and grab a coffee and maybe a muffin and work all day. But, for a grab and go style it blow my mind. I complimented them on a nice restaurant and also asked a woman who seemed like she was in charge with the big building outside was. I assumed it was the Capitol building but I just wanted reassurance in case I posted a picture online. She looked at me like I was an idiot and answered "the Capitol building." That didn't sit well with me. Overall, this place is definitely worth trying out for the environment and I'm assuming the coffee, not so much for the food.
