  • Last year, my then boyfriend and I visited several big box jewelry stores to get an idea of the style and carat size that I would like for my engagement ring - we never intended to buy anything from them (as their quality is awful), but I was already sick of dealing with their sales people. "Oooh"-in and "Aah"-ing at every mediocre ring that I tried on, and forcibly wedging themselves into a very personal moment for my partner and I. We walked into Engage Diamond Studio without an appointment on a weekday night. It was quiet and the saleswoman was finishing up with a client in her office. She invited us to help ourselves. This was by far my favorite part. Just me and my partner, walking around the empty store and grabbing dozens of beautiful rings from the displays for me to try on. So much fun! Once I had narrowed down my choices, Evelyn talked to us for over an hour about diamonds, rings and even cute stories about other couples. We stayed way past closing time. My partner went in that week to pick out a stone and design the ring with Evelyn's help. He combined several elements from the rings I had liked to create a ring that is uniquely mine. He insisted that they expedite the building of the ring so that he could present it to me on our anniversary, and they delivered. I absolutely adore my ring and the whole process was lots of fun for me and minimally stressful for my fiancĂ©. I would recommend Engage Diamond Studio to anyone and we will definitely be back to purchase our bands from there as well.
