We adopted a little puppy from this Petco last Saturday (3/12/16) and a few days later found out she had a terrible case of worms and was positive for the potentially deadly PARVO Virus. When we asked to speak with the GM he never returned our call. We were able to chase him down after a week and at this point he indicated that they would not alert customers about the Parvo that had been in their store and would continue to allow this shelter that does not insure the health of their animals to come back to this location. The fact that Petco is allowing this shelter to use its location to sell puppys that have not been first treated to insure their health shows no feeling either towards the animals OR THIER CUSTOMERS. The contaggian remains for several months unless properly cleansed by bleach, so each and every customer potentially brought this home to infect their dogs and cats. On top of this the company encourages you to brings your pets into the store with you further exposing your pets to potentially deadly infections. THIS BLATANT DISREGARD FOR THE HEALTH OF THE ANIMALS THEY PROFESS TO CARE ABOUT AND THEIR CUSTOMERS IS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION. Be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS at this location or better yet Save your pets by staying away from this PETCO location.
