| - I'd been to the auto museum before, but this time I checked out the mansion, too. Lots of furniture and dresses on display, in an impressive building. There's a little kids area, a Bob Hope display, a few presidential artifacts. I passed on the free carousel ride, and spent most of my time checking out the cars and planes. They have a decent collection, centered around Cleveland makes. Obviously the stars are the stainless steel cars, an oddity. But there are dozens of well-restored cars, rare and common types. Plus a few planes upstairs, since the National Air Races were held in Cleveland. There's also a blimp gondola. All in all, a fun way to spend a couple of hours. There's a gift shop with pretty interesting books and other items. I think it was $10, 8 with my AAA and OHS discounts.
