| - Cafe Crema is only a 10 min drive on a good day from my house, but since being located in Bridlewood, are on the edge of the city. We drove passed some horses, and farms. I usually cant stand being this far into the suburbs, but Ive heard some good things about the place.
The cafe is a good size. It was busy, but not crowded on the Saturday morning we went in. I think it maybe used to be a small congregation? I assume so, because there is a podium, and large "faith inspired" quotes on the wall.
I wouldnt call it super cozy per say, but they do their best with quite a few couches, and simple decorations.
I really like how they seem to want to be involved in their community. They have guest musicians, and tons of posters up of events at the entrance, like you would find in any trendy downtown cafe.
They also have a play area and offer some kid snacks for purchase.
The ladies at the front counter were very nice, and brought our lattes to us when they were ready.
Lattes were what we ordered all around and the were perfect. We didnt indulge in any desserts, but them have plenty on offer.
While I wouldnt go that far again just for the coffee,If I lived in the area, this is a MUCH better alternative to a Starbucks.
