rev:text	I haven't been inside an Asian type market since living in Japan in the early 90s. This was sort of exciting, but mostly time-killing for me. The smell that hits you as you walk in can deter you, but don't let it. I nearly walked out after walking around a little at the aisles furthest to the left as you walk in. The set up and pricing reminded me of dollar stores that sell cheaply made goods for a high mark up. I kept wandering around though and left having bought a bunch of stuff I didn't know I wanted and most certainly knew I didn't need. The music is really obnoxiously loud and at one point was blaring rap. It was a little uncomfortable shopping around listening to hip-hop/rap in another language with several old people walking around. I wouldn't listen to that crap with my grandparents, so why would I want to with these strangers? Anyways, it was just a little annoying. Another thing I found weird were all the employees stocking shelves; none of them spoke English and as I walked by (looking more Caucasian than I actually am), they looked very nervous and showed this when they each tried to say hello. I didn't understand their strange behavior until I got to the register. I'd finally run out of room in my arms to carry 4 pound bags of noodles and little jars of spices. I was waiting behind a woman who was speaking Spanish to the cashier. They were discussing the new SB1070 bill and saying that because of the way they look they're going to be pulled over, etc etc. I was just eager to pay, but I know Spanish and caught what they were saying. I did notice that the cashier was VERY friendly with this woman, but when my turn came to pay, she rushed through everything without so much as a smile. She asked for my ID because I was paying with a card and then saw my last name (a "Hispanic" last name) and then smiled all of a sudden like she just didn't know. It was a little too late and I was ready to leave. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area, but I just don't know about the employees here. This is more of a 2 and a half star review.
