I was referred to the emergency clinic by my regular vet after my cat had gone in for a dental. My vet noticed some irregularities with her jaw and teeth and felt it necessary to see a specialist. Thus, I was recommended to see Dr. French.
Dr. French was bar none, one of the best veterinarians that my cat has ever encountered. She was gentle, soft and very understanding at how stressed out she was after being in the waiting room with boisterous dogs. She outlined everything that would need to be done, all of the tests and costs. Yes it was expensive, but I understood that going into being a pet owner and wanted to do everything as safely as possible to ensure that my kitty would be safe.
Dr French updated me throughout the day as to my cat's status and with them being open twenty four hours, I was able to go in to pick her up on my schedule. The technicans were amazing with the go home and understood that I was emotional and relieved when I was picking her up, so they gave me a full kit of information on what was done, a discharge plan and let me know that I could call any time if I had any questions. They even called a few days later to check up on her and see how she was doing after the dental surgery.
I would recommend anyone who needs specialist work done on their pet to visit Dr. French at the VEC. I can't say enough about her and how wonderful she is.
