  • I have to rate this against all the Ws I've stayed at (Seattle, Miami, ATL, DC) as well as a bunch of other hotels, and I gotta give it a straight up average for the class/price its in. First of all, I should say the service was very friendly. Rooms were nice, in a W way, but there was a weird bathroom situation, with no door, just a big curtain, kind of odd for dudes splitting a room. Fine for the 1 bed rooms, not such a great idea for the 2 bed rooms. Bar was straight up average. Good food, decent happy hour. Lounge/bar/club upstairs was a bit much for me, and hard to avoid. The downstairs lounge was small. Add a good not great location on a business-y block downtown, and it is what it is...3 stars.
