  • It's hard to disappoint me with ice cream, so this was a no-brainer on my latest trip to Pittsburgh. I got the sweet cream, a classic, and it was as great as it should be. The sizes are a bit small for the price, which is to say about most ice cream parlor-type places, but you could tell that Pitt's campus is a fan with the amount of people crowded around the store. It is a shame this place is cash only, as I feel like in the world of today you can easily factor in a cost-benefit of letting people pay however they want. If you don't mind paying a premium for ice cream for whatever reason, this place is nice to visit once in a while.
