| - Ok my fellow Yelpers, I slipped on this one. I did not Yelp this location before booking or I would not have. I Yelped the wrong location (I realized that AFTER the fact, dang!) Every review that has mentioned a dirty room was correct. I checked in and checked out on the SAME day, Never EVER have I done that before, and I lost my $100 and didn't care because my skin will thank me later for it. This was supposed to be a quick turn around trip with an overnight stay in Vegas (here for a bday party), but it so happens I booked late, and it was Cinco De Mayo weekend (yaaaay!), plus there was a major boxing match in town, so rooms were hard to find that were not $300 and up for one night. I thought this place was reasonable and only for a couple of hours just to rest before the drive back home. I can actually see that Extended Stay tried having a neat and clean appearance (hence the pictures), but when you start to look around, dirtiness just seems to jump out at you!
Dirt: The very thin bedspread had a stain on it (eeew!), suggestion: if it doesn't wash out, get rid of it. The floor: I wouldn't dare take my shoes off because when I looked down at the laminated floor it clearly had not been mopped. Noticeable dirt stains and previous shoe prints all over (eeew) The living room: Desk had been wiped but not cleaned because there was still food stuck on it from the previous occupant (eeew again). The tv even had stains on it (wth). They obviously have hired people or someone who does not care when cleaning a room.
The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and apologized for my dissatisfaction and offered a different room, but my husband and I decided we had seen enough to not feel comfortable here. I have never stayed at an Extended Stay before, and now I know I will bypass due to the quality of care that is not put into it. I will continue to pay more for the nicer hotels in Vegas, even if only for a couple of hours of sleep.
