| - I've not ever stayed in the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms or the service at the front desk....
However, I've been here many times. A couple of times for shows and a few times with out of town friends.
First of all, the parking garage is HORRIBLE. Whoever designed it should be shot. The garage is also shared by Bally's next door, which is hugely inconvenient if you are going to that property.
I am very confused by the location of the theater. It's literally in the lobby of the front desk, on the back side of the hotel. It gets VERY crowded at showtime and there just isn't enough space for all of those people. And don't get be started on the bar at the theater - what a nightmare!
I remember way back in the day when this hotel first opened, and I was in town for a volleyball tournament, being a tourist. We walked from MGM to Paris to check it out and I loved it! Now, not so much. The cobblestone is just a bad idea, although I appreciate the concept.
Because it's the strip, the table limits are high, the slots are too tight and the drink service is slow. Not a great place for locals.
