 | - It's been a while since I've stepped foot into an Old Navy outlet, and even longer since I've purchased anything from one. These kinds of places put me into an acute panic - the racks upon racks of clothes, mountains of product on the tables, the same colours repeating over and over. I also used to think the clothing here was cheap and unworthy of purchasing. But once I got the ball rolling on an impromptu trip here, I wanted everything in sight, one in each colour!
The products are nothing unique, in fact, Old Navy proves to be the very epitome of cookie cutter clothing stores. The establishment is exactly what you would expect it to be from the commercials - very family friendly from the range of clothing offered, and cheap (not dirt cheap, but extremely reasonable). Also caters to plus sizes. The staff are a bit useless, but it's not too hard to navigate around the store. Also, the lines can get long since the cashiers are a bit slow at ringing up purchases, but it's bearable. The store is located in what I feel is the less visited part of the Eaton Centre, so there tends to be less foot traffic, thus, fewer people to wait behind during check out, and the tables aren't as messy so it's easier to find your sizes. Overall, great place for seasonal basics, I can't believe I've been living under an Old-Navy-less rock for so long!
