First visit to the Bacchanal for lunch service. Expectations were high, perhaps too high, after hearing it was named the best buffet in Vegas. Honestly I'm not sure it was worth the $40+ price tag, but there were many good features.
Decor: lovely glass accents in modern art sculpture and chandeliers. The seats are modern arm chairs that were quite comfy. The restaurant feels large and airy, and the buffet area had a good flow, not like you are cattle being fenced in.
Service: I had expected a wait, but there was zero line at 12:30pm. All staff were friendly and attentive. The gentleman bussing the tables was very quick and polite without feeling like he was hovering waiting for you to finish. The only thing I thought was a bit strange was our waitress' opening line of "can I offer you a Pepsi product to start with?" A bit heavy on the brand marketing if you ask me.
Food: there is a lot and general quality is high. My favourites of the day were the tomato soup - creamy and rich, the cheese and meats, the crepes made to order. I sampled many items from sushi to street tacos and they were all good, but not "wow". But if you're looking for variety of good quality food in one spot, you're well served at Bacchanal.
