I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could.
First impression is that this is a nice, quiet, casual, yet elegant Thai oasis in the middle of a strip mall. The decor of modern Asian minimalism in soft lemongrass and wood tones is very warm and inviting. We were greeted and seated immediately by one of the friendly and attentive waitstaff.
I felt a disconnect almost immediately after being seated. The large flatscreen televisions, the R&B music complete with expletives, and the noise coming from the back of the house were confusing and distracting for me. Maybe this is what the market dictates in this area? I ordered a glass of house Chardonnay and decided to get over it. It was delicious.
We ordered the Tom Kah and Mongolian Beef, both with medium spice. Both were very good, and worth ordering again in my opinion. Again, the waitstaff were all friendly and attentive.
I would probably not go back into the restaurant again, but I would definitely order take out from them.
