I chose something on the menu that I was unfamiliar with. Having asked for an explanation, I jumped in. I got a large serving dish with huge salad leafs, speared cucumber, bean spouts and julienne carrots, with a generous serving of mint and basil. Also on the plate was a serving of vermicelli and bowl of grilled pork and ground pork wrapped in some sort of vegetal sheathing, all in a sweet fish sauce with onions. It came with a side bowl that I was unsure how to use. Without knowing exactly how to attack this dish, I started putting a little of everything in the side bowl, but the tastiest stuff was the liquid in the meat bowl, so I used it as the mixing vessel. It was all super tasty and ample. It's little pricier than just a bowl of soup or a skewer of chicken and rice, but worth it once in awhile. I wish I remembered the name.
