  • WARNING: INFECTION HAZARD! I went to get my acrylics filled and a pedicure done here two days ago. They looked nice, however, I woke with my finger swollen, burning, and visible pus under the nail fold next to my fingernail of my thumb. I contacted the salon who put 'the manager' on the phone. He told me to come in. He proceeded to clean, open the skin (which is illegal), drain (also illegal), and bandage my thumb. He took my info and said he would call and check on me tomorrow. Today, my finger is still in pain and unusable. I called the salon again to speak with the manager. It was ther same guy, but now claimed he wasn't the manager. I asked if they intended to give my money back because I wasn't paying for an infection. He said it wasn't their fault and no. So, I just paid $118 for an infection which will cost me even more with doctor's fees and medical supplies. SAVE YOUR MONEY(AND POTENTAILLY FINGER) AND AVOID THE EXTRA HEADACHE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am going to follow up with a doctor, already made a complaint with state board, disputed the charges with my bank, and will go talk to the actual manager, and possibly a lawyer.
