| - Let me premise this with I cannot review the whole salon as I was working directly with one of their stylists, Jose.
I called the salon and the receptionist who answered was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the stylist I wanted to work with (Jose) keeps his own appointment book. That being said, she offered to have him call me...and he did.
We scheduled to have a cut and color about a week later with the understanding that Jose would call me if he couldn't make it because he had something else to do that may conflict, but he wouldn't know until closer to the appointment. I said okay because it sounded serious, he was upfront about it, and he came recommended to me.
Well, come to the day of the appointment and I haven't heard a thing from him. So, I call to confirm and he seemed surprised that we had an appointment. He then tells me he can't make it, but we can reschedule for tomorrow evening because he recently changed his schedule to working only certain days a week and only evenings.
This is not the experience I wanted to have with this stylist or this salon. I gave two stars because he did offer me alternate days to come in, but I just feel like my time was undervalued. I think I would try this salon and even this stylist again because I get that life happens and sometimes we forget, but it'll be a little while before that happens.
