This has less to do with the store and more do to with the management. Recently my wife purchased two pairs of shoes. The following day she noticed another charge on her card for a lesser amount. Upon reaching out to the store, she was told that "the sales associate had not charged her enough so I went back and added a charge the following day to make up the difference." We also now have a copy of her email to our banks fraud department where she tells the same story in writing. (Not to mention copies of both the signed credit card receipt as well as the one submitted after the fact with no signature.) Both my wife and I are rather perplexed: since when is it okay to engage in this type of behavior towards the customer? Also, this has less to do with the amount fraudulently charged (bank's words) and is about principle.
