| - TBS has been my barbershop of choice for about 2 years now. Personally I get my hair cut by Nick, but looking around the shop, it seems that every barber there consistently does a good job, as there are plenty of people, both young and old, who walk out of the shop in all smiles.
The barbers here work on an independent basis, paying rent monthly for a spot in the shop. Having said this, each of them maintains their own clientele and this shop is heavily appointment-based. If you walk in without an appointment and just sit down, do not be surprised if you do not get any service, as each barber is probably just assuming that you are a client of another barber there.
For walk-ins to be successful, I'd highly recommend telling one of the barbers that you're a walk-in. Usually, if the barber you ask doesn't have time in his schedule for you, he'll ask his fellow barbers in the shop if anyone does have time.
Ideally, what you'll want to do is get a barber's number and set up an appointment. This way, you can greatly decrease the variability in your wait times.
During your wait, feel free to play a game of FIFA on the PS4, charge your phone on their built-in chargers behind the bench, watch TV on the flat screens, or even check out the new hair products in the showcases. The music here is typically loud, and they tend to play various types of hip hop.
Hopefully your wait isn't too long, but it'll be well worth it once you get your cut.
